CAPABILITIES
Choose the support your part needs
Injection molds, production injection molding and LSR services. Use the sections below to find the scope that matches your project.
Injection molds: from part review to trial
Our tooling scope connects engineering, mold manufacture and trial review. These are the stages of developing the tool, with requirements agreed for each project.
Mold Design & Engineering

Review the part geometry, resin, assembly interfaces and appearance requirements. Develop the parting line, gate strategy, cooling and release mechanisms around those inputs.
Agree the analysis scope and design documents before machining begins.
Injection Mold Manufacturing
CNC machining
Machine the forming and supporting components to the agreed mold design.
EDM
Produce features that call for electrical discharge machining.
Assembly
Fit the components and check slide, core-pulling and ejection movement before trial.
See the child car seat tool build for an example linking cooling and hydraulic release decisions with physical tooling.
Mold Trial & Quality Validation
Review mold operation and trial samples against the project requirements. Record dimensions, visual or functional findings within the agreed inspection scope, then decide the next correction or approval step.
DFMOLD HK has an ISO 9001-certified quality management system. Acceptance criteria and any required reports are defined for the project.
Production Injection Molding

When the order includes plastic parts, align the resin grade, quantity, appearance, dimensions and delivery requirements before production is released.
LSR Services
For liquid silicone rubber components, begin with the drawing, intended material grade, application and expected quantity. Review the tooling and molding requirements, surfaces and acceptance checks for the individual component.
Planning, delivery and support
See our project process for indicative mold lead times, the two-year mold warranty and overseas on-site support arrangements.
Start with your part requirements
Send the drawing, intended material, expected quantity and the support you need. We will review the project scope with you.
